What is OxIMUN?
The Oxford International Model United Nations conference (OxIMUN) is Europe’s premier Model United Nations conference. Held in the historic city of Oxford, OxIMUN brings together delegates from different countries and backgrounds to debate pressing global issues, listen to illustrious guest speakers and partake in exceptional social events. Delegates are promised an academically rigorous and culturally rich experience that is unlike any other. It is organised by students of the University of Oxford on behalf of the Oxford University United Nations Association (OUNNA). Its roots can be traced back to model debates of the League of Nations, which took place in Oxford as early as 1921. OxIMUN 2024 marks the 20th edition of the modern-day conference.
