The Secretariat

The team responsible for ensuring your experience at OxIMUN is enjoyable.

Under-Secretary-General (Delegates)

Rose (she/her) is a first year Classics and English student at Jesus College, Oxford. Beyond her passion for the ancient politics of the Roman Empire, Rose is a keen supporter of Model United Nations and international cooperation in the modern era. She has participated in MUN since the beginning of secondary school, experiencing the range of Security Council, Arctic Council, ECOSOC and much more. Leading the international Oxford conference this year is an exciting opportunity to introduce as wide an audience as possible to the fun and quirks of MUN - which our committee exemplifies to the max!

Under-Secretary-General (Academics)

Boldizsar is a biology undergraduate at Christ Church, Oxford. When not in lectures or the lab Boldizsar can be found horse riding or fencing whilst also trying to get through his endless personal reading list. He has been passionately involved with MUN for close to a decade, first competing as a delegate winning multiple awards throughout Europe, before then chairing a wide range of conferences. Boldizsar was the Secretary-General of RGS Guildford and is now the Under-Secretary General of Academics a role he aims to use to create an exciting and interesting conference that will premier a style of crisis that will be sure to impress. He wishes all delegates fruitful debate.

Boldi Paladi Kovacs

Deputy-Secretary-General

David (he/him) is a PPE undergraduate at University College, Oxford. Outside of his endless coursework, David can be found studying his collection of maps, reading up on ancient Chinese history, or attempting to make gourmet food in the kitchen (usually to little success, although only a few of his test subjects have gotten food poisoning so far). David has been actively involved in MUN since grade 11. He began as a delegate, winning a number of awards across Canada, the US, and the UK, before becoming a chair, and finally, an organizer. Over the past months, David has put a lot of time and effort into organizing OXIMUN, and he is excited for the adventures that this conference will bring!

Secretary-General

Grace is a Law undergraduate at Jesus College, Oxford. Grace has been an avid participant of MUN for the past 5 years, having been Secretary General of her school’s conference in Hong Kong, and participating in conferences across the world both as a chair and delegate. When not in the law library (which is rare), you can often find Grace with either a musical instrument or tennis racket in her hand, running around from place to place on random side quests, or singing very loud at whatever concert happens to be somewhere near Oxford. Having been involved in the organisation of OXIMUN from day one, Grace is super excited to welcome all delegates to the 20th anniversary conference.
